Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attacks Perpetrated in Copenhagen
No: 59, 16 February 2015
We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks which were perpetrated in Copenhagen at a café on 14 February 2015 and subsequently against a synagogue on 15 February 2015, resulting in two civilian fatalities and injury of five security officials.
These attacks proved once again that terrorism has no religion or nationality, and it does not represent any merit.
We extend our condolences to the friendly people of Denmark with whom we stand in solidarity in this difficult day. We wish solace and perseverance to the families of those who lost their lives, and a speedy recovery to those injured.
